Joshua Crockwell, a trainee firefighter was given a suspended jail sentence Tuesday in Bermuda, after he was convicted of sexually exploiting a young girl.
Crockwell, 22, tried to get a 12-year-old girl to perform a sex act on him on two occasions. He became friends with the girl and exchanged text messages with her in 2010. And then in June 2010 he arranged to meet her and tried to get her to perform oral sex on him.
Crockwell was found guilty after a trial earlier this year of sexually exploiting a girl under the age of 14 between June 1 and June 30, 2010. He was sentenced to 15 months in jail.
Crockwell is the ex-boyfriend of newly married reality star Natalie Nunn. They dated in 2011.
Nunn, 27, recently said ‘I do’ to former NFL player Jacob Payne, 21.

Not that it matters. But he was given a 15 month suspended sentence. He isn’t in jail.
The article mentions that hun.
FYI- I live in bermuda. There is a vast difference between getting convicted and doing jail time. And a suspended sentence. The judge could be kicked off of the bench for this. Read the following.
22-year-old Joshua Crockwell of Pembroke received a 15 month suspended sentence for sexually exploiting a 12-year-old girl when he was 20 years old.
ZBM reported that during the sentence hearing Mr Crockwell was described as “first time offender with good character who managed to maintain a clean lifestyle, notwithstanding the charge to which he was being sentenced.”
Mr Crockwell, who was defended by Elizabeth Christopher, apologized and said “nothing like this would happen again.” The 22-year-old served as a firefighter, but has been suspended for two years due to these charges.
What is your point? The first sentence says that he was given a suspended sentence. So what’s the problem? I provided the source, so people are free to find out more info about the case. I don’t get it.
LOL. thats all he gets… -.-
Nini just made my point. There is a difference you said serving jail time. He isn’t. I can go back and forth. But then again. Who freaking cares !
We sure can because you obviously can\’t read.
Awkward moment when your a bermudian and know crock well o.O
for all whose confused…cause i'll admit i was at first :
————>A suspended sentence is a legal term for a judge's delaying of a defendant's serving of a sentence after they have been found guilty, in order to allow the defendant to perform a period of probation. If the defendant does not break the law during that period, and fulfills the particular conditions of the probation, the judge usually throws out the sentence
